This is an interesting quote. Sometimes I wonder how much of who we are is original or just a product of how we were raised and who we interact with. I guess in the end I don't really agree with this. I feel that there is something original about me that would exist regardless of who I've known.

like oscar wilde once said, "Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."

and i think as sad as it is, that is true. nothing is original anymore unless you are the first. the first of first, otherwise we are just another version of what has already been said or done.

but in that regards, our version is totally original and new to ourselves because our interpretation is subjective based on our own personal experience...so no two things are exactly the same [so in that, we are original]...but there will always be similarities.

Remember

we live very short lives if we think about time in terms of decades and millenniums. our time on earth is very short compared to the stars and the tallest trees in the biggest forest. today i feel small.

tomorrow perhaps I'll feel bigger.
